National Museum of Iran
National Museum of Iran is a state museum under the auspices of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts. The Museum consists of the Iran Bastan Museum (Ancient Iran) and the Museum of Islamic Archaeology and Art of Iran, as well as eight research departments, the conservation department, the library and the archives. Golestan Palace
The lavish Golestan Palace is a masterpiece of the Qajar era, embodying the successful integration of earlier Persian crafts and architecture with Western influences. The walled Palace, one of the oldest groups of buildings in Teheran, became the seat of government of the Qajar family, which came into power in 1779 and made Teheran the capital of the country. Built around a garden featuring pools as well as planted areas, the Palace’s most characteristic features and rich ornaments date from the 19th century. It became a centre of Qajari arts and architecture of which it is an outstanding example and has remained a source of inspiration for Iranian artists and architects to this day. It represents a new style incorporating traditional Persian arts and crafts and elements of 18th century architecture and technology.

The Imam Reza’s holy shrine is a complex of Shrine, dome, finial, Ravagh, Bast, courtyards, porches, mosques, Saqakhaneh which are the most worthwhile of architectural decoration. Tomb of Attar Neyshaburi
The tomb is built during the reign of Timurid dynasty. In Qajar era, during the reign of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar, the governor of Khorasan was going to build another tomb instead, but unfavorable circumstances of the country convinced him to stop. After Qajar dynasty, during Pahlavi era, in the reign of the second king of Pahlavi dynasty, the tomb was restored completely in the format that still remains. In 1990s another restoration mission accomplished.

Kamal-ol-Molk Mausoleum
The building is the burial place of one of the most famous historical character of contemporary art of Iran, Mohammad Ghaffari known as Kamal al-Molk, the Iranian painter (Kashan 1224- Neyshabur 1319) that is located in the vicinity of Attar tomb, the Iranian famous poet and mystic, in the Attar garden. Kamal al-Molk mausoleum is designed by Houshang Seyhun with a harmonious combination of traditional and modern architecture in which, geometry, has a basic role and deeply connected to the Iranian architectural system.

One of the most unique and terrible site-museums around the world is Iron Age Site-Museum, an ancient cemetery in the heart of the ground, where 38 graves are put together in which many men and women, young and old individuals and several children were buried. This cemetery has remained from iron age that is about four thousand years ago. The class conflict, the grave of the rich and the poor are recognizable; the rich were buried with their possessions, women with their jewelry and children with their toys.

This is the biggest roofed bazaar of Iran. Bazaar of Tabriz is the vastest roofed bricky complex. It has 6500 stores, 25 Timchehs (small Caravanserai), 11 corridors, and some schools, mosques, and baths. You can find 40 kinds of occupations in the bazaar.

Kandovan Village
Kandovan is an astonishing village located on the mountain flank of Sultan Daghi, Sabalan Mountain, located in East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. Kandovan Village is famous for its wonderful rocky architecture which is the result of volcanic activities and hand-carved structures. This complex consists of a series of properties from prehistoric to historical periods such as Morad-Hassel Tepe, an ancient village, a Parthian graveyard and a Sassanid hunting ground. Caravansaray of Meybod
Meybod Caravanserai or popular as Shah Abbasi Caravanserai Meybod, built in 1689, sits in the city of Meybod, 56 km northwest of Yazd City. Properly preserved, Meybod Caravanserai is one of the numerous caravanserais of Iran, constructed in Safavid era (1501-1726). It is neighbored by Kolar Water Reservoir (Ab Anbar) on its entrance, an Icehouse (Yakhchal) on its opposite, and a Pony Express (Chapar-Khaneh) on its side.

Amir Chakhmagh square
Amir Chakhmaq Square was constructed in Timurid era by Amir Jalal Addin Chakhmaq. He was a Timurid ruler of Yazd and completing the project was not possible without his wife’s – Seti Fatemeh Khatoon – help and advice. The square and the mosque were then called Amir Chakhmaq Square and Amir Chakhmaq Mosque by the people respectively. Different parts were added to the complex after him during various eras, however, they all were too trivial in comparison with the original version. Moreover, renovations and reconstructions were made within different periods as well.
