Golestan Palace
The lavish Golestan Palace is a masterpiece of the Qajar era, embodying the successful integration of earlier Persian crafts and architecture with Western influences. The walled Palace, one of the oldest groups of buildings in Teheran, became the seat of government of the Qajar family, which came into power in 1779 and made Teheran the capital of the country. Built around a garden featuring pools as well as planted areas, the Palace’s most characteristic features and rich ornaments date from the 19th century. It became a centre of Qajari arts and architecture of which it is an outstanding example and has remained a source of inspiration for Iranian artists and architects to this day. It represents a new style incorporating traditional Persian arts and crafts and elements of 18th century architecture and technology.

Given to the antiquity of carpet weaving in Iran which dates back to the Acheamenid dynasty the necessity of establishing a museum has been highly apparent. The Carpet Museum of Tehran was constructed in 1356 SH, Bahman 22, representing a collection of the most noble and invaluable hand woven carpets. The architecture of the museum is highly spectacular and glorious. The decorations on the external facade of the museum is exactly similar to a carpet loom. The exhibition ground of the museum includes two halls the first one has been designed for permanent exhibitions and the second floor’s hall has been dedicated to the temporary exhibitions of carpet and Kilim.

Sa'd-o-Saltane Caravansaray
Caravanserai of Sa’d al-Saltaneh is one of the picturesque monuments of Qazvin city. A historical building belongs to the reign of Qajar dynasty. It is located in the central district of Qazvin. It was built by the command of Sa’d-Al-Saltaneh during the kingship of Naser-Al-Din Shah Qajar. It also is near the other famous monuments of Qazvin e.g. old bazar and Chehelsotun mansion. Caravanserai of Sa’d al-Saltaneh is the biggest in town caravanserai of Iran. There is a vicissitudinous history behind the building. It was one of the main centers of the trade before World War I, but in the postwar era, this significance started to fade. After many years and many restoration missions, the building revives and now it’s one of the most significant stations of tourism. Most of the stores in Caravanserai of Sa’d al-Saltaneh, nowadays are handicrafts and souvenir shops. There is also some cafés and restaurants there.

Helal-ibne Ali Shrine
In the city of Kashan, in the city of Aran and Bidgol, the shrine of Imam Hilal ibn Ali (AS) is located. The building of this magnificent shrine (AS) has a dome with two beautiful colorful spires, wide northern and southern courtyards, high porches, a porch, and various pavilions with a pond, cellar, and old windcatchers. The original current building dates back to the Safavid period, which was later rebuilt and restored several times and decorated with watercolors. On the porch of the northern courtyard and above the entrance door to the shrine, a marble inscription is installed, which tells about the construction of this building, and this theme is carved on the wooden door of the entrance to the shrine from the porch of the northern courtyard.

Meybod Caravanserai or popular as Shah Abbasi Caravanserai Meybod, built in 1689, sits in the city of Meybod, 56 km northwest of Yazd City. Properly preserved, Meybod Caravanserai is one of the numerous caravanserais of Iran, constructed in Safavid era (1501-1726). It is neighbored by Kolar Water Reservoir (Ab Anbar) on its entrance, an Icehouse (Yakhchal) on its opposite, and a Pony Express (Chapar-Khaneh) on its side.

Narin Castle of Meybod
The building which is known as Narenj Castle in common language is one of the most important historical monuments before Islam in Yazd Province. Narin Ghal’eh in Meybod town in Yazd is another historical and stunning mansion in ancient Iran whose builders’ architecture and art has attracted the attention and admiration of archaeologists and history lovers. Its long background has given it a legendary identity such that the compiler of Yazd History has attributed the castle to the time of Solomon (AS). Amir Chakhmagh square
Amir Chakhmaq Square was constructed in Timurid era by Amir Jalal Addin Chakhmaq. He was a Timurid ruler of Yazd and completing the project was not possible without his wife’s – Seti Fatemeh Khatoon – help and advice. The square and the mosque were then called Amir Chakhmaq Square and Amir Chakhmaq Mosque by the people respectively. Different parts were added to the complex after him during various eras, however, they all were too trivial in comparison with the original version. Moreover, renovations and reconstructions were made within different periods as well.

Zoroastrian Fire Temple
The Fire Temple of Yazd, a focus of the Zoroastrian faith in the city, is one of the most important fire temples in the world. Within an elegant Neoclassical building, reflected in an oval pool in the forecourt, is the temple's centrepiece - the Behram Fire. The Behram Fire has burned continuously since 470 AD and is the longest burning sacred flame in Iran. It has been relocated several times - coming to Yazd in 1474 and only being moved to this building in 1940. The fire temple here is one of the nine most important in the world to Zoroastrians, and one of only 167 that still exist anywhere.

Grand Mosque
The origin of the Jameh Mosque of Yazd dates back to 800 years ago. First, the mosque was constructed on the site of a Sassanid fire temple by the command of A’la Al – Dowleh Kalanjar. After 200 years, the mosque was renovated. The main building of the present construction is built by the order of Seyyed Rokhn Al Din Mohammad Qazi. One of the highlights about this mosque is that the oldest dated tile work existing in the building is in the eastern entrance vestibule and dates back to 1364 A.D.

Shahcheragh Shrine
Shāh Chérāgh is a funerary monument and mosque in Shiraz, Iran, housing the tomb of the brothers Ahmad and Muhammad, sons of Mūsā al-Kādhim and brothers of ‘Alī ar-Ridhā. The two took refuge in the city during the Abbasid persecution of Shia Muslims. One of the most well-known features of Isfahan is Si-o-Se Pol which is the widest bridge over the Zayandehrud, connects also north and south of Isfahan.

Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque
Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is one of the architectural masterpieces of Iranian architecture that was built during the Safavid Empire, standing on the eastern side of Naghsh-i Jahan Square, Esfahan, Iran. Construction of the mosque started in 1603 and was finished in 1619. It was built by the chief architect Shaykh Bahai, during the reign of Shah Abbas I of Persia.
